Civil War Veterans Museum will be hosting the H.L. Hunley Traveling Exhibition from September 21st - 23rd. This entertaining and educational exhibit features a full-scale replica of the Civil War era submarine CSS H.L. Hunley, the world's first successful combat submarine, along with many other interesting displays. Reenactors will be on hand to tell the unique story of this vessel, from the first launch to the tragic end. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind experience!

On Friday, September 21st, from 4:00pm to 6:30pm there will be a special Meet & Greet with crew members of the USS Nebraska, sponsored by Blue Star Mothers of America and Nebraska City Tourism & Commerce. Shredded beef sandwiches and refreshments will be served. Event is free will donation.
